Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking for leaks, cleaning condenser coils, and replacing filters, to ensure proper chiller functioning.
• Conduct regular testing and analysis of chiller system parameters, such as refrigerant levels and oil quality, to identify potential issues and prevent system breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose chiller system malfunctions, identifying and resolving electrical, mechanical, or control system problems in a timely manner.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, belt adjustments, and system calibration, to extend the lifespan of chiller equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians and other personnel to schedule repairs, replacements, or upgrades of chiller components as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of chiller operations, maintenance activities, and repair history.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements in chiller operations and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chiller Operator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of chiller systems and operations.
• Knowledge of different types of chillers, such as air-cooled chillers, water-cooled chillers, or absorption chillers.
• Familiarity with chiller controls, refrigeration principles, and associated equipment, such as pumps and cooling towers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints related to chiller systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting chiller malfunctions and conducting repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to monitor system performance and detect abnormalities.
• Excellent communication skills to report findings, explain issues, and collaborate with team members.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary.
• Flexibility to work in shifts or be on-call to address any emergencies or system failures.
