As a Procurement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization’s supply chain management, ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for our operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and operational excellence.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed sourcing decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Resolve supply chain issues and proactively address any disruptions.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and technological advancements in procurement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Operations.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within the Marine/Oil & Gas Industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successful procurement initiatives.
