As a Building Watchman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises, residents, and visitors. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of security and vigilance within the building premises.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building, including common areas, corridors, and parking lots, to deter unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment.
• Verify the identity of individuals entering or leaving the premises and ensure compliance with building policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or any security breaches, and take appropriate action as required.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns to the relevant authorities or management.
• Provide assistance and support to residents and visitors when needed, addressing their inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure the proper functioning of security equipment, such as access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems, and report any malfunctions or issues for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the building management team, security personnel, and emergency services to implement effective security protocols and emergency response plans.

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Building Watchman or in a similar security-related role is preferred.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills to quickly identify potential security risks or suspicious activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, visitors, and colleagues effectively.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and fire safety regulations.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills to handle security incidents or emergency situations calmly and responsibly.
