Description: Civil Lab Technician Job In Saudi Arabia

A company in Khobar is looking for a Civil Lab Technician, has the expertise to perform the following duties:

– Perform lab testing of Soil, Concrete, Aggregate materials and related chemical tests according to international standards and work Instructions as per authorization matrix or/ and responsibilities / authorities referred in the job to describe the deputy.
– Analyze test results, control the nonconforming test results, verifying and validating measuring equipment, ensure the fulfillment of records including worksheets and other supplements when performing testing proceeds within the authorization.
– Perform the internal calibration of equipment and tools to validate the calibration results. (As per competence requirements and obtained training).
– Perform the concrete compression test based on ASTM C1077 (As per competence requirements and obtained training).
– Implement and follow the work instructions in accordance with the best quality practices.
– Perform and evaluate laboratory tests of Soil, Concrete & Aggregate materials and Chemical related tests according to appointment letter and job description.
– Identify the laboratory equipment with a special identification card / ID to illustrate the equipment validity and suitability of the laboratory resources.
– Follow-up preventive maintenance action plan, verify equipment on the daily basis, ensure proper transportation actions onto the laboratory premises.
– Ensure the efficiency of measuring equipment, verify and monitor them to accomplish the accuracy parameters.
– Track the initial settings of the equipment to avoid any unintended use.
– Prepare equipment inventory and label them to ensure the validity of its results and monitor relevant records.
– Collaborate in the internal training process.
– Notify the direct supervisor with maintenance & calibration status.
– Precede intermediate checks to validate the specified methods.
– Participate in internal audit processes.
– Record the environmental conditions (humidity & ambient temperature), and other variables may affect the laboratory activities.
– Monitor the environmental conditions during the testing process and record all the variables in the specified logs.
– Ensure the accuracy of test results and perform the work within limited time frame, maintain the confidentiality and impartiality during the testing process
– Monitor the testing performance and evaluate the deviation in the standardized methods.
– Comply with the validity and accuracy of test results.
– Verify that the equipment meets the quality control standards
– Determine the intended resources within the jobsite and inform the concerned authority.
– Document testing deviations in which they arise during the testing activities.
– Manage the relevant testing activity as specified in the organization chart and support the other testing sections.
– Control and monitor the technical data and records.
