We are seeking a skilled Cold Storage Technician to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our cold storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various cold storage equipment, including upright freezers, upright chillers, table chillers, top cover chillers, chest-type freezers, blast freezers, ice cream freezers, walking freezers, and walking chillers.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address issues proactively, ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of all equipment.
- Utilize your expertise in HVAC systems, particularly with a focus on upright freezers and chillers, to maintain optimal temperatures and conditions.
- Handle cold room systems, including walking freezers and chillers, to guarantee the safe storage of perishable goods.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in HVAC systems with a specialization in upright freezers, upright chillers, table chillers, top cover chillers, chest-type freezers, blast freezers, and ice cream freezers.
- Basic knowledge of cold room systems such as walking freezers and chillers.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
