Equate Shutdown Fire Watcher Kuwait – Are you ready to be a crucial part of ensuring safety during a major industrial shutdown? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Fire Watcher in the upcoming Equate Shutdown project in Kuwait.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Fire Watcher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment during the Equate Shutdown project. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of workers, equipment, and facilities by diligently observing and identifying potential fire hazards and other dangers. You will be stationed at critical points, monitoring activities closely and being prepared to act swiftly in case of emergencies. Your responsibilities will include:

Regularly patrolling designated areas to identify fire risks.
Monitoring hot work activities to prevent fire outbreaks.
Being vigilant about any signs of smoke, fire, or hazardous conditions.
Raising alarms and alerting the appropriate personnel in case of emergencies.
Assisting with the implementation of emergency response plans.
Coordinating with the firefighting team and following their instructions.
Maintaining accurate records of your observations and actions taken.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Equate Safety Card.
Previous experience as a Fire Watcher in an industrial setting is preferred.
Knowledge of basic firefighting equipment and procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey observations and warnings.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and act quickly in emergencies.
Physical fitness to perform duties that involve walking, standing, and some lifting.
Attention to detail and the ability to spot potential hazards.

Remuneration and Benefits:

As a Fire Watcher for the Equate Shutdown project, you will receive a competitive salary of KWD 175. In addition to the salary, you will be provided with free food and accommodation, ensuring your well-being throughout the project duration.
