We have an urgent opening for an experienced Instrumentation & Control Foreman to join our team in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities of a Gas Turbine based Power Plant. Responsibilities: Instrumentation And Control Foreman Job in Oman
– Manage and supervise the maintenance activities of the Gas Turbine based Power Plant.
– Ensure the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
– Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential problems and take appropriate corrective actions.
– Coordinate with the team to ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
– Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in the Gas Turbine, control systems, power transformers, switchgear, and other power plant equipment.
– Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
– Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
– Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve operational efficiency and meet production targets.
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
– Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Gas Turbine based Power Plant maintenance practices.
Requirements: Instrumentation And Control Foreman Job in Oman
– Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or a related field.
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in Gas Turbine based Power Plant maintenance.
– Excellent knowledge of Gas Turbine based Power Plant maintenance procedures and best practices.
– Experience working with Siemens Gas Turbines and control systems is highly desirable.
– Proficient in the installation, repair, and maintenance of power transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.
– Sound understanding of permit to work and safety systems.
– Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as required.
