We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our school community in Bahrain. As a school nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students. Responsibilities: School Nurse

1. Provide primary healthcare services to students and staff members in the school setting.
2. Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses, and provide appropriate medical care as required.
3. Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records of dosage and administration.
4. Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, ensuring their specific medical needs are met.
5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs.
6. Conduct health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and maintain accurate records of results.
7. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate first aid.
8. Educate students, teachers, and staff members on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle practices.
9. Maintain a clean and organized medical room, ensuring the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment.
10. Collaborate with school administration to develop and implement health policies and procedures.

Requirements: School Nurse

1. Valid nursing license issued by the relevant authorities in Bahrain.
2. Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
3. Excellent knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members.
5. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
6. Proficiency in English language (both spoken and written).
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric healthcare.

• Monthly salary: BD 200
