We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Store keeper to join our team in Oman. As a Store keeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of goods, and maintaining accurate records. Your role will contribute to the smooth operation of our store and the timely availability of products to our customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Effectively manage and maintain the inventory levels by receiving, inspecting, organizing, and storing goods in a systematic manner. Ensure proper stock rotation and update inventory records regularly.
  • Stock Control: Perform regular stock checks to monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions. Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained at all times.
  • Goods Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming goods, verify the quality and quantity against purchase orders, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies. Liaise with suppliers and relevant departments to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns. Prepare reports on stock levels, stock movement, and any variances. Utilize inventory management software effectively to track and manage stock.
  • Organization and Storage: Implement proper storage techniques to maximize space utilization and ensure easy access to stored items. Categorize and label items correctly for efficient retrieval and inventory control.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels to anticipate and initiate timely replenishment orders. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure seamless procurement and delivery of goods.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the store premises, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal of goods. Identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to minimize risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and finance, to coordinate stock-related activities. Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate stock information and assist with customer inquiries, as needed.

Qualifications: STORE KEEPER

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and computerized systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical stamina to handle and lift heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with storage and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
