Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our reputed group of companies, which primarily focuses on Construction, Real Estate, and Hotel businesses in Bahrain. If you have a strong background in accounting, extensive experience, and the ability to lead a finance team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis for the group of companies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
Manage cash flow, financial transactions, and banking relationships.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Monitor and assess financial performance and recommend improvements.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting processes.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or a Master’s Degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior accounting or leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
