Job Description:
As a Furniture Painter at LEADING COMPANY, you will play a vital role in adding the final touch of beauty and elegance to our furniture pieces. Responsibilities:
- Prepare furniture surfaces for painting by sanding, filling cracks or imperfections, and applying primer as necessary.
- Select appropriate paint colors and finishes based on customer preferences and design specifications.
- Apply paint, stains, or varnishes to furniture surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring an even and smooth application.
- Create decorative finishes, such as distressing, antiquing, or faux painting, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the furniture.
- Follow established painting techniques and quality standards to achieve consistent and high-quality finishes.
- Ensure proper drying and curing of painted furniture pieces before proceeding to the next step of the production process.
- Inspect finished furniture pieces for any defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of painting materials.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as furniture assemblers or finishers, to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new painting techniques, and innovative materials to continuously improve painting processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Furniture Painter or in a similar role, with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of different painting techniques, finishes, and materials used in furniture painting.
- Proficiency in color mixing and matching to achieve desired shades and effects.
