Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and order are maintained throughout the premises. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Train, motivate, and manage a team of housekeeping personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to guarantee compliance with the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for the housekeeping department.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to create a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
Requirements: Housekeeping Supervisor Job in Juffair, Bahrain
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel setting.
- Previous work experience in the GCC region is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ensuring smooth operations even during peak hours.
- Proficiency in handling guest requests and complaints, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams within the hotel.
- A high level of adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work schedules.
