We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Supervisor to join our Market Research company in Dubai. As the IT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT department and managing all aspects of IT operations. Your responsibilities will include data recovery planning, managing IT staff, upgrading existing technology, and assessing data risk factors. Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Data Recovery: Develop and implement a comprehensive data recovery plan for the company to handle emergency situations effectively. Assess data risk factors and take necessary precautions to safeguard corporate data and systems.
2. Manage IT Staff and Operations: Oversee the IT department’s daily operations, including hiring, training, and scheduling of IT staff. Establish department procedures and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to the team. Coordinate installation teams and supervise Help Desk operations. Conduct regular employee evaluations to ensure performance excellence.
3. Upgrade Existing Technology: Evaluate the company’s current IT systems and determine the need for upgrades. Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and assess their potential benefits for the organization. Schedule and implement upgrades to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Supervisor or similar managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of data recovery planning and disaster recovery processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing IT staff and departmental operations.
• Familiarity with the latest technology trends and advancements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
