Job Description: We are in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our esteemed finance team as a Junior Accountant. As a key contributor, the Junior Accountant will actively support various accounting and financial activities, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts and promptly resolve discrepancies
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members on diverse finance projects
- Enforce adherence to accounting policies and procedures
- Provide support for audits and compliance efforts
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the finance manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
