2. Food Supplies Management: Help unload food supplies from delivery trucks, ensuring that all items are properly stored and labeled to maintain food safety and inventory control.
3. Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area. Regularly clean and sanitize countertops, cooking equipment, utensils, and other kitchen tools.
4. Stock Management: Keep track of kitchen supplies and inform the supervisor when items need to be replenished. Assist in the inventory management process.
5. Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and adhere to waste management guidelines to maintain a clean and eco-friendly kitchen.
6. Assistance During Service: Offer support during meal service hours, which may include plating dishes, refilling condiments, and responding to ad hoc requests from the kitchen staff and cooks.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
2. Experience: Previous experience working in kitchen settings or a similar role is preferred. 1-2 years of experience will be beneficial.
3. Food Handler’s License: A valid food handler’s license is necessary to maintain proper food handling and safety protocols.
4. Physical Stamina: The role involves standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks, so physical fitness and stamina are essential.
5. Team Player: Ability to work well within a team, take instructions from chefs and kitchen staff, and collaborate effectively to meet kitchen goals.
