Maintenance Planning Engineer HEISCO, Kuwait (KNPC Project)

Job Description:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance planning or mechanical maintenance within the refinery or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Strong expertise in using PRIMAVERA (P3) software package and other relevant computer applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic refinery safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Planning Engineer at HEISCO for the KNPC Project, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Maintenance Planning: Develop, implement, and manage maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
  2. Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials to execute maintenance activities effectively.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze historical maintenance data and performance metrics to optimize maintenance processes and identify areas for improvement.
  4. PRIMAVERA Utilization: Utilize PRIMAVERA (P3) and other computer applications to create and manage maintenance schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all refinery safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the maintenance team.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance reports.
