Position Summary: Oil and Gas Painting and Blasting Technicians

We have immediate openings for Painting and Blasting Technicians to contribute to the successful execution of our projects. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing painting, sandblasting, and surface preparation activities according to industry standards and project specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Painting Foreman (Diploma):

- Supervise and lead a team of painters, ensuring quality and timely completion of painting tasks.
- Coordinate with project managers to plan and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor surface preparation, paint mixing, application, and inspection processes.

Spray Painter:

- Operate spray painting equipment to apply paint coatings on various surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as per painting specifications.
- Ensure even and consistent application of paint, while adhering to safety guidelines.

Sand Blaster:

- Utilize sandblasting equipment to remove rust, dirt, and old paint from surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces by masking and setting up containment measures as required.
- Follow established blasting procedures and maintain high-quality surface preparation.

Brush Painter:

- Apply paint coatings manually using brushes, rollers, or other appropriate tools.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as per painting requirements.
- Ensure proper adhesion and finish, paying attention to detail and quality standards.

Requirements: Oil and Gas Painting and Blasting Technicians

Minimum 5 years of experience in an Oil and Gas company in the GCC region.
Relevant certifications or diplomas in painting or surface preparation.
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications and follow technical instructions.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding environments.
