An urgent requirement has arisen for a highly experienced and competent Project Engineer (Mechanical) in Oman. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a solid track record of 12 to 15 years in the field. The candidate should have significant experience in the GCC, specifically in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably managing EPC projects such as Cross-Country Pipelines, MSVs (Mainline Valve Stations), Flowlines, and Compressor Stations. A background in working with other contractors in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) would be an added advantage. The role will involve direct construction and project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire project from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring the implementation of best practices and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and progress updates.
  • Utilize IT tools and software, including ERP systems, for effective project management and record-keeping purposes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Display effective leadership skills, driving project initiatives and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve project goals and objectives.

Qualifications: Project Engineer Job in Oman

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the GCC within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically handling EPC projects.
  • Previous experience working with contractors in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi is required.
