Are you a dedicated Safety Officer with a passion for ensuring the well-being of personnel in a high-demand environment? Join our team for a 2-month shutdown project in Qatar, where your expertise in safety protocols and regulations will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure work environment.

Responsibilities:

Implement and oversee comprehensive safety programs to mitigate risks during the shutdown project.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards and taking prompt corrective action.
Collaborate with site management to ensure compliance with safety standards and policies.
Provide safety induction and training to personnel, emphasizing best practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.
Monitor and promote the proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Prepare safety reports and maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and activities.
Act as a liaison between workers, management, and regulatory authorities regarding safety matters.

Qualifications:

NEBOSH IGC Level III certification or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
Proven experience as a Safety Officer in shutdown or high-pressure projects.
Strong knowledge of Qatari labor laws and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail in hazard identification and risk assessment.
Proficient in conducting safety training sessions and creating informative materials.
