We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to oversee all financial transactions, ranging from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budget management. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate tax payments and returns. Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Prepare budget forecasts.
- Publish financial statements in a timely manner.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure prompt bank payments.
- Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Maintain balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the financial health and liquidity of the company.
- Conduct audits of financial transactions and documents.
- Uphold financial data confidentiality and perform database backups as needed.
- Adhere to financial policies and regulations.
Requirements and Skills:
- Work experience as an Accountant in a trading company.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
