We are seeking an experienced ARC Welder to join our team of skilled professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of welding operations, including but not limited to, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures using the ARC welding process.

Responsibilities: ARC Welder

• Prepare materials and surfaces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and polishing
• Operate welding equipment and tools to perform ARC welding on metal structures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are in place during welding operations
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
• Work collaboratively with other members of the team to complete projects on time and within budget
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and productivity
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team

Qualifications: ARC Welder

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ARC welding, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Must be physically fit to perform the job duties, including lifting and carrying heavy objects

Physical Demands: ARC Welder

• The ability to stand for long periods of time
• The ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• The ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• The ability to use hand and power tools

Working Conditions: ARC Welder

• The job may require exposure to hazardous materials and environments such as dust, fumes, and high temperatures
• The job may require work in adverse weather conditions
• The job may require overtime and weekend work as needed
