We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling diesel engines and related components in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities: Diesel Mechanic

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine malfunctions and performance issues
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil, filters, and belts
• Overhauling engines, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of components
• Repairing or replacing faulty components such as fuel injectors, pumps, and turbochargers
• Performing electrical and hydraulic system repairs and diagnostics
• Using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose engine problems
• Documenting all repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Requirements: Diesel Mechanic

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, including electronic systems and emissions controls
• Experience with engine overhauls, fuel systems, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use specialized diagnostic equipment and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
