As a Building Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems in buildings. Responsibilities: BUILDING ELECTRICIAN

• • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in buildings
• • Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical systems and equipment
• • Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets
• • Follow local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
• • Collaborate with other team members, such as construction workers and architects, to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
• • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and updates
• • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed

Requirements: BUILDING ELECTRICIAN

• • Proven experience as a Building Electrician
• • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
• • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• • Understanding of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
• • Experience with both AC and DC voltage systems
• • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical systems and equipment
• • Excellent communication skills
• • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred
• • Valid driver’s license

Additional Information: BUILDING ELECTRICIAN

This position may require working on both new construction and existing buildings, and may involve some travel to different job sites. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions. The Building Electrician will report to the Electrical Supervisor and work closely with other members of the electrical team, as well as other tradespeople, architects, and clients.
