Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability, including analyzing environmental impact, soil conditions, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed project plans, designs, and engineering calculations in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive project specifications and construction plans.
• Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with zoning and building codes, local regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Perform cost estimations, budget analysis, and material quantity calculations for project proposals and ongoing construction activities.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve engineering-related issues and ensure effective communication throughout the project.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to develop accurate designs and technical drawings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in civil engineering practices.
• Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation to clients and management.
• Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality objectives.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
• Solid knowledge of structural analysis, design, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Project management skills to effectively plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites.
