Responsibilities: Counter Sales Staff for Supermarket

1. Warmly greet and direct customers to the appropriate sections or products within the supermarket.
2. Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions by providing accurate information about product features, pricing, and available after-sales services.
3. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
4. Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in the selection of products and quantities.
5. Receive and process payments using various payment methods, such as cash, credit cards, and digital wallets.
6. Collaborate with other team members to restock shelves, maintain product displays, and ensure the supermarket’s overall tidiness and organization.
7. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to offer the best recommendations to customers.
8. Assist in managing inventory levels and participate in regular stocktaking activities.

Requirements and Skills: Counter Sales Staff for Supermarket

1. Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or in a similar role, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
2. Solid understanding of the retail sales process and excellent customer service skills.
3. Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
4. Strong verbal communication skills to convey product information clearly and persuasively.
5. Basic mathematical abilities to handle transactions accurately.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
7. Familiarity with various payment methods and point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
8. Must be detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable.
