Job Details

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical design as per DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) regulations, fire fighting and fire alarm system design. The Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for coordinating with other engineering disciplines, supervising work at the site, and being familiar with final connection procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong electrical engineering skills and experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Handle electrical design tasks in compliance with DEWA regulations.
Design fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integration.
Supervise electrical work at the construction site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Familiarize oneself with final connection procedures and specifications.
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and quality control.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical design, particularly in compliance with DEWA regulations.
Familiarity with fire fighting and fire alarm system design.
Knowledge of other engineering disciplines and their integration.
Strong understanding of construction practices and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to supervise work at the construction site effectively.
Familiarity with final connection procedures and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
