Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage rigging and lifting operations on-site to ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Lead a team of skilled technicians and provide clear instructions for safe and efficient rigging and lifting activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute rigging and lifting tasks in alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Regularly inspect rigging equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging and lifting operations, including load calculations, equipment usage, and safety reports.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and ensure a high level of competence in rigging and lifting procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in rigging and lifting within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Possession of a valid third-party 5-day training certificate for Rigging/Lifting Supervisor from TUV or Bureau Veritas is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to rigging and lifting operations.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
