We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Soft Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Soft Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various soft service operations within our organization. This includes managing a team of service staff and ensuring the efficient delivery of services such as cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, pest control, waste management, and other related tasks. Your strong leadership skills and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the soft service department.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to the service staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Train and mentor service staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and consistency of service delivery.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Monitor and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate soft service activities and meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Prepare reports, including service performance metrics, staffing requirements, and budget utilization.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in soft service management, implementing new strategies and technologies as appropriate.
  • Foster a positive and productive work culture, promoting teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements: Soft Service Supervisor

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in soft service management, preferably in a hospitality, facility management, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping procedures, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and vendors.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and practices in a service-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
